Switch It's laggy and raccoon shop doesn't expand

I am on switch, and I have completed all raccoon requests, however the wife's shop still only has the four seeds. From what I have read on wiki I believe it updates with every request you complete. I do see the pop up saying the shop is expanded every time but it is actually not.
Also it is lagging so badly when I am in my farm, I'm wondering if I have too many crops/buildings/kegs or something.
It is so bad that I registered for this forum so I can ask everybody about it.

oh i didn't know its for xbox too, i thought its switch only, god i want more jungle tanks so bad and i can't get it bc of this glitch 😫😫😫 lets hope it gets solved soon!!

im having the same problem:^( i made an account to look around for help with the glitches ive been getting. my iridium scythe also returned to gold!

Signed up just to respond: I too am not seeing any expansion to the racoon shop (xbox) although I've only gotten the popup once. but i haven't seen any lag while playing single player, some light fps drop while playing splitcreen and more than one player on the farm though.

The iridium scythe is a whole different item, not a traditional upgrade clint-style. The iron, gold and iridium scythe can all co-exist in your inventory, I suggest checking your chests for it and possibly Mayor Lewis' lost and found box?

i figured out the lag on my farm was from putting a hat on my cat. once i took the hat off all of the lag was gone. hopefully that helps! i am also having the same issue with the raccoon shop and haven’t been able to figure out why:(

I just read that the store only expands once you finish all 9 requests. There’s 2 or 3 more after you get the good neighbor achievement

I’m experiencing the same issue! I just completed the dried mushroom task, but when I tried to start the juice task, the game glitched. It automatically went through the completion sequence, even though I hadn’t done anything. It rewarded me with the raccoon hat and said the store expanded, but nothing new is showing up in the store!


Does anyone know if Ape is aware of this issue/if it’s being worked on?

(Playing on Switch!)

Yep, switch, same issue with the stock not expanding. Getting some lag, but nothing too bad
