Solved I CANT READ THE SECRET NOTES

I have the notes to read but the notes are not readable and there is no secret notes tab please help(my English is not very good )

I click or hold on it but the secret note does not open @Ereo

I believe I was doing the same thing as the OP... opening the inventory screen, then trying to right and left click on the item, not realizing you need to activate it from the hotbar in normal play. Thanks for that!
