I first read this when it came out but it was RIGHT after the Trout Derby in my game which I ignored of course since it's a time waste. So I played for a year and had to find this post again.
I only did the first day of the Trout Derby since I was fairly satisfied with my score, but I got 24 tags. If anyone beats this I will happily try again, next year ^.^

I'm still deep Spring and it probably won't be some time before I get to try this again... but when I get to it, I will take you guys on your challenge and see if I can beat 24 tags...
I'm thinking of Challenge Bait/Targeted Bait/Wild Bait, Curiosity Lure, Dressed Spinner.
It really depends on if I have major skill issue with the Squid at max fishing levels if I want to switch Challenge with Targeted/Wild, and then maybe I just need to test out between the two which is more effective.
