We met when he was 7 months old. His previous owner treated him very badly, and he was very scared when I took him over. It felt great to see him take step by step the first weeks and months, like the first time he blinked back, dared to jump into the couch with me, and first time he slept with his stomach exposed ❤

Super comfortable in my apartment now, he even lets me borrow his bed 😅

Still gets worried by sounds of strangers, like when the neighbours come and go, but quickly calms down. I struggle to get permission to brush him, tho, he wants to fight and eat all the various tools I try.

Sometimes happy little accidents happen and this is one.

There's a photography technique called Tilt-Shift which if done right can make the scene look like a miniature version instead of real life. It involves using an intentionally misaligned camera lens and likely a lot of practice as well as some post-processing. You can also fake it with simple post processing alone but sometimes it looks a bit 'off' that way.

Oooooooor you could catch your 8 year old phone during a senior moment, desperately trying to figure out focus while you stab at the 'take the freeking picture!' button. And it gives birth to the first unintentional tilt-shift pic I'm aware of and certainly that I've ever taken:
