Grandpa's Shrine

I've been playing multiplayer with my daughter (7) and having explained to her what a shrine was she promptly asked if it was possible to leave flowers there for him, or at the graveyard in town. I told her no, but that I would suggest it as a possible update, so here it is.

That would be a nice QoL addition to the game, I think. By doing so, maybe it could bring extra luck for the day or some sort of karma - or just for commemorative reasons.

I personally put my decorative statues at the shrine but if place able flowers were a thing that would be a lovely thing to be able to do!

Maybe you could have the wife occasionally deliver flowers as well.

They could last a few days to a week before disappearing.

Another thought would be to maybe have the pc to do a prayer animation when standing in front of the shrine. Maybe it would be limited to only if you stand in front of the shrine at a certain time and/or a certain day. Making it an easter egg reveal.

I always decorate the shrine with different flower decorations (tub of flowers and seasonal ones) and I also plant some flowers. It takes a couple of days each season until they are nice and grown.

I usually buy graves from the autumn festival. Then i shape it like a pentagram and add skull torches.

That is absolutely adorable. I've always thought of the consequences about playing this game with younger players and this is an excellent example. I would say decorate it yourself, tub o flowers is a good option, but bring it up on the forums is a better way.
