Windows Gifting trinkets to NPCs

When gifting Trinkets to NPCs, the item does not show up in the gifting tab afterwards. I am using the latest version for PC (windows).

I noticed this on Switch as well. When you're holding a trinket, you don't hold it above your head like you do other gifts. Assuming it has something to do with that?

Having this issue as well, which is sad because I’m trying to give everyone all their unique loved and liked gifts, but the trinkets don’t show up :(
