Switch Game crashes after trying to divorce my spouse.

I have exactly the same issue, as described. The divorce day ends and the game crashes exactly like that before the days earnings screen can show up and the day doesn't get saved. It doesn't matter how long the day was or if I did nothing else, the divorce makes it crash after going to bed.
In my case it's Elliot.

same as described in the original post and in the comment. i tried sleeping at the ginger island as well, it still crashes.

Same, same. Happens with Haley for me. I just wanted this OC to achieve perfection but realised living the married life didn’t suit her. LOL.

I guess we are stuck with Haley now.

At what in-game date are you guys trying to do this? Have you achieved perfection and watched the credits yet? Just curious, it probably doesn’t matter.

I'm having the same problem with Shane. It crashes right after divorce day.
