Regular chest. Unsure about others. When reloading game the issue was not repeatable. Just cleared two islands and had 999 and 999 wood. Tapped once and sorted and both dropped to 984, then 948, continued until I was down to only one piece of wood in one slot. Only happened to wood in my backpack.
typically play piecemeal: do not fully exit game; only minimize. When I go back in it asks if I want to continue where I left off.
There were two large mushroom-like trees I’ve never seen before while clear cutting.
Inventory was full and continued cutting regardless. When game loaded all extra wood on ground was gone without being collected. Not sure of that is how it typically is or not though.
My dog kept sleeping on the bed next to my spouse and causing me to not be able to go to sleep at night so I recently poofed the dog and adopted a green back turtle.
