Favorite SDV Spouse?

I've been kinda curious for the last few days as to whom the most loved SDV marriage candidate is;
So I've decided to ask!!

Who's your favorite spouse and why?

Mine personally is Shane, and my reasons are I relate to him quite a bit and I generally just really appreciate his character, arc, and interests!!

(I too am also a chicken lover and have a flock of my own IRL :blush:)

I don't like Shane because he's a alcoholic and I hate alcoholics but he does have a redemption arc. Mine is Abigail I married her on my first playthrough back in 1.5 and I really like her adventuring side. I really wished we could take her with us to the mine. If I could though then I would marry Caroline..... Don't judge Pierre sucks and Caroline is hot and also tea saplings IT'S FOR THE TEA SAPLINGS.

I don't really have a favorite. About half of both bachelors and bachelorettes are interesting enough that I want to see what they're like as a spouse, even after having tried three of them already, Alex, Abigail, and now Shane. The Alex save got abandoned and erased. Shane is perfect for my hilltop save as I've got the coop and barn on the same terrace as the farmhouse and spouse area and the animals roam free over that area. His chicken would be welcome to mingle with my chickens.

Left on my list are Sebastian, Harvey, Leah, Penny, and maybe Sam or Maru. Planning on playing other maps later on, and going for different spouses on each map.

Robin isn't my taste tbh. But I can see why people like her. I hate alcohol with all my heart and even if he gets better I personally will never engage with a alcoholic. Speaking from personal experience

I've just been marrying and divorcing everyone on my main save cuz i don't wanna make a new one TwT
Thus far I've married (in order) Alex (my first save which has been abandoned but not erased), Shane, Elliott, Emily, and Sebastian.
My least favorite so far was Seb - he's not really my cup of tea lol
