Switch Elliott is disappearing from the house

Hey everyone, is anyone else having this problem? I downloaded the latest patch (November 13th) for Switch and it's currently a Sunday in my save, Winter 21st and I noticed that Elliott disappeared from the house. I restarted the day and discovered he was leaving the house at 8:30 am, the same time he goes to the beach on Mondays, but he didn't go, he just disappeared after leaving the house. Not on Ginger Island either since I leave it closed in the Winter. I'm very nervous, I have more than 660 hours in this save.

for me haley always goes out of the house early and just kinda hangs around the town. she never goes onto the farm, but she goes to the area where the bus stop is first, and makes her way around town

Elliott never does that, he has a very simple schedule, and he only goes out of the farm on Mondays, I know it by heart, I have 18 years in my save and we've been married for 16 of those, and I couldn't see him passing by the bus stop or anywhere in the town, he is bugged.

I just noticed this as well!!! And he sometimes is not in bed at night either, though that is unpredictable as I haven't played more than a couple weeks in game since the update. Perhaps he is not in bed on the nights that he has disappeared?

Noticed this in late Fall of year 4, continued into winter. Also on Switch (I don't want to play a whole bunch more to figure out the pattern cause I am nervous too ⊙⁠﹏⁠⊙)

He always reappears in the morning, but when he leaves the house he just POOF disappears.

Yes Leah has started disappearing too. I go to bed at 1.50am and she is nowhere to be seen. But there she is handing me a salad in the morning.

I'm having the same exact problem!!! It's freaking me out LOL. I also married Elliott and I'll leave my farm house simply to just tend to my farm, and when I come back he's just gone. And it happens on other days of the week as well so I know he's definitely not at the beach. And it happens no matter what the weather is, and he never leaves the house on rainy days.

I also had my son disappear pretty much entirely once, and he didn't show up until the next day. Very strange.

I posted this same thing, and I’m scrolling back through the bug posts to find similar issues. I noticed it in my current save file marrying Seb, he just vanishes and never goes to bed but I see him in the morning. I went back to my old save with Elliot and yup same exact thing that you describe. I tested out a couple things with Seb, if he left the house on his usual Monday-Friday, I could get him to stay in the game if I followed him. I can’t work around the random disappearing when he stays home minus maybe checking on him every few minutes. But that’s not a fun way to play lol
