iOS Dwarf Scrolls donated but still can’t speak to dwarves

I have an iPhone, my version of the app is up to date. I have found all four scrolls and donated them to Gunther but never got my ability to speak to dwarves. There is nothing I can do to trigger this. I have moved things around in the museum, gone to sleep, tried to talk to the dwarf. Closed the game and reopened it to load the save. It’s very annoying. Is there anything else I can do???

Yes thanks, I have handed all four in to Gunther. I collected other rewards because I met more than one condition I think and maybe that’s why I didn’t get the translation thingy?

If you donated other items to Gunther as well, you may need to talk to him several times to receive all the rewards.

Gunther doesn’t give you all the rewards at once. You need to talk to him again for each reward you’ve earned.
For example, if you have three rewards waiting, you need to talk to Gunther three times to receive them all. 🙂

When I talk to him now he tells me I don’t have anything to donate, and doesn’t say anything else

Could you try talking to the Dwarf once? I don’t remember the Dwarvish Translation Guide appearing in my inventory either. 😅 Maybe the guide is already unlocked, and you can understand the Dwarf without actually receiving an item.

If you still can’t understand him, then maybe there really is a bug. 🥲

Yes I have tried talking to the dwarf in the mines as well and it’s still not working. I do think it’s a bug. Is there anything I can do to report it as a bug beyond posting here?

You can put the save files in a zip folder and upload them here so the devs can take a look at what is going on.

there is a known bug on mobile where you can accidentally remove things you donated, so I would doublecheck that all the scrolls are still there.

You need to donate one. Either you’ve thrown the one you had away, gifted or sold it, or it’s in a chest somewhere. I’d try to find it first, or you can get a second one in the mines and donate that.

I don’t believe that I did that, I absolutely handed it over to Gunther. It seems crazy that I need to find another one!
