Windows CO-OP freezing

Hi everyone! My girlfriend and I are experiencing a problem with the CO-OP feature. When we're playing together (she's on Android and I'm on PC) she will freeze at random. The only thing that fixes the issue is if I offer her an item. However, we were mining together, she froze, and the green fog came through and killed us both. This bug is bad enough where it makes the game unenjoyable. Is there anything else that can be done?

Yeah, that is a current issue with mobile multiplayer. I've heard that enabling the analog and buttons option within the game to make the player move with the joystick prevents the freezing from happening.
