Champion of the Valley - Day 1

It's a friendly martial tournament between villagers. For play offs I'll divide them into groups based on gender bc by weight seems like it wouldn't be fair, there would be only Marnie vs everyone else.

Tournament will be held at the Flower Dance area Lewis told us where he hides the plank

Notes:

Wizard is banned from the tournament because he spins really fast.
Governor send his sorries that he is too busy to participate unless there is food.
Fizz is banned from the tournament because he would try to sell.
Asked George out of kindness if he would like to participite only word I got was "leak".
Asked Gil out of kindness if he would like to participate and I think he is dead.
Henchmen would insist on participating with the prize of eating the villagers that he is able to defeat, kindly refused and banned from the valley.
Birdie wasn't too hard to convince as soon as I mentioned to her we got an ex pirate named Marlon and he still got his eye patch intact, her logistics was expensive.

I'll divide the pool like A means group 1 means first versus such as A1 - Alex and Elliot and A2 would be the next so please vote accordingly I want to keep it in one post if possible so all fights will have to be voted within this post -- :( I can only add limited amount of options for pool so I will divide groups to days and we go from wherever we end up, I won't count your votes if you voted for both participiants of the same fight.

As Alex and Elliott exit the crowd of eager and excited Villager wallflowers, approaching the center of the clearing, Elliott takes off his shirt in a pre-emptive pectoralis pounce to sway the audience to his side and get the first and most important hit on Alex: become the audience's champion. However it's an imperfect gambit as Elliott spends few days shirtless so his attack is blinding in the midmorning sun causing everyone, including Alex, to cover their eyes lest they risk permanent retinal damage. As Elliott realizes his blunder, he edges towards the closest shady trees as Alex doffs his shirt revealing a more impressively tanned physique. This elicits oohs and aahs from

Shane.

He's the only one who remembered his sunglasses.

Wondering why the expected noises of appreciation are in a lower vocal register than usual Alex shields his eyes to look around as Elliott finally reaches enough meager shade to prevent blistering the faces of the few villagers who managed to remain conscious. Alex is now attempting to fight the purple vaguely Elliott-shaped form now semi-permanently seared upon his visual cortex and Elliott launches his attack. Unfortunately Elliott spent no time training or conditioning his muscles for this contest that Farmer Eminy hastily sprung on the Town, but one thing Elliott did spend time conditioning is his

hair.

As Elliott approaches Alex, newly blinding everyone within a 700 meter radius, Alex's wild flailings become tangled in Elliott's hair and down he goes. Hopelessly entangled, Alex is subdued within mere seconds and Overseer Gil, having been transported to the ring on a litter by Marlon, Gunther, Gus, and Sandy, makes a vague gesture ending the match. He mumbles something about 'hair boy' and falls back asleep.

During intermission, Gus serves drinks while Haley applies all manner of hair care products to release her Alex in a vain attempt to save him from a fate worse than death: embarrassment. As the excitement of the first bout ebbs along with Alex's feeble cries for help, Harvey's mustache twitches in irritation at all this silliness but he feels the pressure to be a part of the festivities. Why couldn't I be matched with Emily or Sand-- but his thought process is broken by Farmer Eminy's insistence that this show moves on as the day is progressing and those Night Fish won't catch themselves.

The look on Sebastian's face is one of clear disdain. He'd be able to create any character in The Solarion Chroncies to easily ace this ridiculous competition but no, someone decided it should be IRL or whatever. He'd roll his eyes but Sam's already been accusing him of imitating Abby's mannerisms and suggesting something more. Sammy buddy, what you don't know fills all the libraries in the world. Farmer Eminy's voice rings throughout the clearing reverberating and penetrating the forest declaring Sebastian and Harvey to step from the crowd. Pfft, the old man? This'll be easy. Good thing it wasn't Abby, heh. Sebastian starts sweating nervously.

Harvey removes his jacket as he and Sebastian approach the clearing's center and each other. Each is far too cautious and nothing happens except some catcalls from the crowd to get a move on and an occasional "nice butt!" Sebastian is considering whether that was Abby's voice or not when Harvey seizes his opportunity and darts in with the swift precise skill of a surgeon (so he imagines), grabs Seb's hoodie strings in one hand and the hood itself in the other, and pulls it over his head. Sebastian instinctively goes for a bear hug but Harvey's already got a string in each hand and yanks with all his might, closing it shut blinding Sebastian and pinching his nose. Harvey overtopples Seb onto his back and manages to keep him pinned down, the mass of his dadbod mini-potbelly that totally doesn't look like a plucked chicken when he's at Ginger finally coming in handy. The cheers and ruckus manage to stir Gil and he indicates that the caterpillar wins by placing his finger across his upper lip under his nose. Everyone eventually figures it out as Gil's gentle snores merge with the sounds of the forest while the din fades following the excitement of the second contest.

Alex wins against Elliot because he trains a lot.
Harvey would probably beat Seb because he obviously takes good care of his body while Seb spends all of his time on a computer, and he smokes.
I don't think Shane trains, but who knows. But I think Sam would beat Shane because his legs are strong from all the time he spends on his skateboard.
Clint must be pretty strong, so I think he wins against Gus.
Abigail fights monsters on occasion, while Haley definitely doesnt do anything, so Abby wins.
Jodi works out weekly so she would probably win against Leah.
Emily would absolutely win against Penny for the same reason Jodi would.
I'm inclined to think Sandy is more physically adept than Maru, but I have no idea tbh.

Marlon and Kent... It would be a tough battle, but my vote is on Kent because Marlon is aging.
Linus probably has a very physically challenging life (and he used to be a pirate), and Demetrius probably has asthma or something.
Pierre would probably kill Morris in his sleep before it happened, so He'd go forward uncontested.
I hope Willy beats Lewis, so he has my vote. But I have no idea who would actually win.
Marnie is stronger than Pam, but Pam would get an adrenaline burst and win for sure.
Robin is probably more physically adept, but Caroline would be calm and collected because she drank tea that morning so Caroline has my vote.

Evelyn would 100% come with cookies and Krobus would 100% let her win if he could have a cookie. Evelyn wins the fight, but we all know Krobus is the real winner here.

Sorry. Gunther would beat Birdie, but she'd put up a fight so she could have a better chance of finding her husband... But who is it?
