Xbox Can’t Upgrade Barn + Coop in Multiplayer

Heyo! We started a new save on the XBOX, and have run into an issue; we have the coop and barn you start with (lvl1) and Robin won’t let us upgrade them. The option never shows up, like Robin doesn’t even remember building both the coop and the barn for us. Im wondering if this is a bug that can be fixed or if calling it quits and abandoning the save is the right move?
thank you in advance!
