Mac [BUG] switch pro controller isn't recognized on MAC

I am using steam on a Macbook pro (13inch, 2013) with a plug in switch pro controller and randomly last night Stardew won't recognize my controller. Steam does, and I've made sure to have my settings correct on stardew and steam with no luck. My other games work smoothly with it, I've tried some code things but so far no luck. Any help or suggestions would be incredible :) Thank you

you don't need to do it via terminal, just copy and past the file by dragging and dropping, rename by right click > rename
But you need to be an admin, or have an admin do it for you.
