PC [BUG] No ambiance sound at JojaMart

ApedConcern

Greenhorn
Humming of machinery (fridges, neon) used to play as background noise while at jojamart. However, this is not the case anymore. Please note that:
  • Im using the latest version (not the beta)
  • Using PC edition
  • No mods
  • Game cache verified
  • Reinstalled game
  • Tested on multiple computers (yet no sound play when inside)
  • Tested on different save files
Im starting to believe that the humming may have never existed in the first place so please let me know if you can replicate this bug. I remember hearing it many versions ago and a lot has changed since then.
Edit: Found evidence of the sound effect existing. It should sound like this
But in my game no sound can be heard while inside of jojamart.
This also seems like a pc only bug.

I haven't figured out how to fix this but have learned to live with it. Jojamart doesn't play a big role on most playthroughs so this isn't really a big deal, just an annoyance.

I've followed the steps but there was no need to do so. The problem isn't stardew valley not having any sound at all, just the joja ambiance.
Previously, I was making sure if the error came from your device. I must admit I have reached my limit.
I wish I were familiar with coding.

If that is the case, I think it would be better to wait for someone to help you modify the file manually.
Specifically, It would be best to replace some broken code by accessing the XACT folder where the Joja ambiance is located.
I am presuming it would be great to find a nice Joja unbroken ambiance file and replace your current one.

If you are brave enough to take some risk to touch the coding, I suggest doing research and understanding the coding mechanics first before...

No, Im not using it. Could it help modify the game?
Yes. It can modify.
The SMAPI can modify a few of your files when you are not using it. –it's a possibility.
If you have installed or uninstalled SMAPI, I suggest getting help from mod support.

EDIT:
I want to give you another idea.
You can use SMAPI and new mods installed to modify your ambiance and music. – that could help.
If you want that path, I suggest asking the mod technicians first. – mod support.
SMAPI can corrupt some of your files.
