This happened when I placed a watering can in the fridge in the ginger island farmhouse and went back to stardew valley via Willy's boat and slept in my bed on the farm, I then woke up and got the message saying there was items placed in the lost and found, I then went to the lost and found and then got a duplicate watering can.
