Hi! I’m hoping you can help me with a very strange issue on Nintendo Switch.
I have a 170-hour, Year 13 save on Switch, version 1.6.13. I placed a chest inside Pierre’s General Store, in an area where NPCs walk, because I was buying seeds from Pierre’s Stocklist.
Inside the chest were my Axe and Pickaxe (among other items). I kept my Hoe and Watering Can with me because I was going to use them in the Greenhouse.
I went home and slept. The next morning, the entire chest was simply gone.
I have searched absolutely everywhere: every chest, fridge, Auto-Grabber, Ginger Island, Desert, Lost & Found, around Pierre’s, behind buildings, around the Movie Theater, etc. The Axe and Pickaxe are nowhere.
What makes this especially strange is that the game never treated the tools as lost. I never received replacements or anything in Lost & Found.
Is there any way to recover these tools or recover the missing chest? I really don’t want to abandon a 170-hour save because of this.
