Windows [Bug] Borderless Windowed not allowing PIP

Hi,
I used to play Stardew two years back, and I would enjoy multitasking by watching videos overlayed on top of the game using Picture-in-Picture mode.
However, as I've started to play again, I've noticed that PIP doesn't work any more with borderless windowed like it did in the past. Any attempt to overlay the PIP on top of the game is overridden.
Is this intended?

I got the same issue, did you ever manage to find a workaround? playing in regular windowed mode seems to have stuttering issues for me.
