Solved [BUG] "A complete collection" achievement wasn't given to me on steam

[kingelitheboss]

I completed the museum and I got the notification that the game gives you, but today I checked my achievements on steam and it isn't there

nevermind, found a reddit thread and was able to fix it!

Can you link the thread?

Can you link the thread?

Sorry for not answering before, the thread is this one: https://www.reddit.com/r/StardewValley/comments/68n0md/steamachievements_not_unlocking/
But you first need to do the steps in this link: https://community.playstarbound.com/threads/achievements-not-unlocking-on-steam-fix.112578/

So you first make a backup of your game into the desktop, then in the original erase the <achievements></achievements> section whole, then go to the reddit thread and read Avocadocalypse's comment for "A complete collection", erase what you need to erase, donate the item and you should get the achievement, then replace that save for the backup to make sure that there aren't any problems.

Hope this helps!
