See I love the DS and the touchscreen is great but I personally think the touchscreen makes me NOT wana go play the game. I prefer simple controls. Pokemon Ranger is great tho.

Money is such a big factor for consoles. Especially if the console is brand new. A XBOX 360 nowadays is like what 70 bucks. But a PS5 is insanely expensive. Emulation is a blessing. I really hate that I have to miss out on great games because of prices. Also the games are expensive.

My dream console is probably the PS4. It was the first home console I ever played and that was at my cousin's home. The guy had borrowed it from his friend and I had a lot of fun playing it. Couldn't really well play anything properly since yeah it was the first time I ever held a controller and I didn't know how to even shoot properly. The PS4 goes for like 140 to 160 for the fat 512 here. Expensive still but better than like a Steam Deck which is like what 750.

I didn't have money to buy GC nor PS2 in 2021.
I was a teenager.
That was okay.
I bought some game magazines.
I could visualize the process of playing games while reading them.
Now I have enough money.
I have Switch2, PS5pro, a PC with 5070.
I have more than 100 games on my Nintendo eShop, PSN and Steam.
but I lost passion to sit in front of them any longer.
Pathetic and desolate.
I hope all the kids can cherish the time really into video games.
You cannot buy them back when you own your money.

Yeah it is true. I'm pretty sure that once I get enough money to really invest into a good pc and a console and what not I won't have free time to play neither any passion. Now that I have free time I don't have the money but once the money comes I won't have freetime. Sad but true I guess. I don't really stress about the most latest games so I play old GBA and SNES games I can play on my current hardware. It's incredibly fun playing games even if there older than me lol. I still tinker a lot to make games run well but I don't stress about sixty fps. Thirty will do. I do hope I will be able to get my kids what I couldn't get. I'm incredibly fortunate still since my mother neither my father had there own phones till at least there adulthood and I also live like royalty compared to them. They never had a car in there childhood they never went to a good school they never had chinese food as often as I do. They didn't get to fullfil there dreams. My mother wanted to be a lawyer but she had to flunk out of university due to having a kid already. I'm grateful but I KNOW I can do better for my kids. I'm nowhere near the age of having kids but I like to think anyways. I do know that I will buy atleast one console once I get enough money as a adult even if I never touch the thing lol.

we sell our labor to get money for living.
but I still love to see my colorful computer cooling fans inside my PC running.
I feel somehow satisfied.
It compensated some of the regrets when I was a teenager.
