Solved [HELP] 1.5 split screen only 2 players?

I just tried starting a new coop game in 1.5 with 3 cabins from the start. Now I can only have 2 total players in split screen at once.
Isn’t the game supposed to support up to 4 players split screen? How can I add a third and fourth player?

This is happening to us too. 2 players work fine but trying to add a 3rd doesn’t.

Same issue. only can play two players. Controllers only seem to look for two players.

I believe the switch only supports two

Is that in the release notes somewhere? I didn't see it, but I could have easily have missed it.

I should not have told my kids we’d all get to play at the same time :(

I thought my kids and I would be able to play at the same time too. So if that’s true it will be disappointing.

I found it on the wiki under “restrictions”:

On Switch only, split-screen mode is limited to two players and each player needs a full controller or two Joy Cons. You can't have both split-screen and remote players on Switch.
