Making a new farm!

1A) Eh, my inventory is already cluttered, I'll pick it up later.
1B) I'm in a hurry and can't be bothered to go out of my way to collect them all, I'll do it later.
2) <never get's around to it and all truffles despawn>

The true thing that works is the fish pond. Multiple of them actually. All with fun different colours.

There's plenty of space for farming + respawning hardwood stumps are great (there are also forageables spawning, but I don't see as much value in that). Little tip: place a barn behind where the greenhouse is so the leaves cover it's roof - looks great.
There is no best farm map, sure some are generally liked more than others, but it all comes down to what you like the most. Even then, I can't fully choose a favourite. You can make any one of them work.

Thank you! And I'll keep that barn tip in mind! I've been trying to find ways to make my farms actually look nice instead of just functional, because I get so bored so quickly now.

Ok, so I've been looking for a new farm type to try. What's the forest one like? I do mostly farm crops early on, and then it's mostly animal stuff for year 3 and beyond. Is forest good for that? What's the best one?

For animals probably Meadowlands. Starting with a coop and two chicken saves a bit money in early game. And you have this blue grass, makes your animals happier. Also enough space for farming. It's my personal favourite so far, besides Hilltop and Riverland.

Often when I play co-op with my sister, we pick meadowlands because of the chooks. She insists that we each harvest Specific eggs from Specific chickens (she names "her" chicken every time.)
Also, Azzia in her private save is now beginning day 14! She has a black cat named Bean and accidentally got one heart with Lewis. (@Ih8Lewis4ever please don't attack me for talking to him daily...) I had to wait until the egg festival to meet the last person for introductions quest. (I actually screamed when I did it because I was so annoyed at Sebastian for staying in his room!) I BET ABIGAIL IN THE EGG HUNT AND WON THE STRAW HAT! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!
