PC [BUG] Ginger Island cutscene crashes game in multiplayer

I was playing on multiplayer (I was hosting) with 1 other person (both PC) and we were doing the 2nd cutscene with the bird person in the treehouse and I clicked the first dialogue option (where did you come from) and then the game instantly crashed. The debug.log says the following:

[1229/202244.036:ERROR:settings.cc(325)] Settings version is not 1

That is all.

Game is version 1.5.1 for both of us.
