CHAPTER 1 :shorts::shorts::shorts::shorts::shorts::shorts:


“I've been living in the valley for one season now and things have been starting to grow on me!
I love the fresh smell of rain, the feeling of cultivating your crops that you've grown from the very seed, and talking with all the townspeople.
I have my ups and downs from the valley but I truly love it here.

Some of the towns people are… how do I say it… interesting. We have Shane who just gets mad at me everytime I talk to him but then again he lingers close enough near me that I feel like it's intentional. He must be lonely… poor guy. He probably can't talk to Marnie about problems and certainly not Jas. I sorta feel bad for him but then again if he wants help he would be a little nicer to people who try to talk to him.

On the other hand…. there's Abigail… Shes kinda odd. OK really odd. I've heard people talk about her badly in the saloon. But then again when people are a bit tipsy they see the world differently.”

All right Ive got to stop writing and start buying some seeds from Pierre for summer!

Ughhhh what time is! Oh shoot 9:30 darn.
I wanted to get there right when It opens. OH Well

I spring out of bed! I'm brushing my hair while calling Pierre to see if I should bring my wallet or if my pocket money is enough.

I do need to bring my wallet… the local economy here is strange. I guess the seeds have to be expensive if you are the only one buying them except small gardeners like Lewis or Caroline.

Welp there goes another 3,000 ginger nuggets :(

As I was rushing out of the shop I fell… well falling is an understatement. I FACEPLANTED :smile::right::sprout:
Like slid a meter. I slid so far I got the dirt from the ground into my hair.

OOOOOHFF that hurt I exclaim

“Whats wrong dear?” says Granny Evelyn
“I can't find my glasses so I can't see what happened”

I fell on my face while carrying 3, 000 g worth of seeds.

“Ah I see. Well I don't see but I understand. You see I must be getting stronger with age because I can now carry 3,000 g worth of groceries in one hand if you know what I mean.”

That's hilarious Granny! I chuckled trying to hold back tears.

Haley walks up to me and says

Don't you get tired of running around on that farm all day, or whatever it is you do? I couldn't stand getting all dirty like that. You probably get a nice tan, though. Well you aren't even running on the farm right now. Your legs must have given out from all the work you do. Ugh couldn't be me.

I roll my eyes so hard as the wind blows in my face.

Wait is that a chipped tooth!? Says Haley!!!
Ewwwww. We need to take you to Harvey Stat! At least that's what the smart people say… right??

She drags me to the clinic while Evelyns picking up my seeds outside.

“Her teeth look ugly now Harvey you need to fix it!”

I finally stand up to see the cutest man ever:harvey::flushed::flushed::flushed:


Haley whispers to me “did you put too much blush on today?”

No, Haley, I’m not wearing makeup. I woke up late-ish. I whisper to her.

EEEEEEEEEE Haley squeals while Dr. Harvey stands there, confused.

Well, I’m no dentist, but I'll try, says Harvey.

He leads me to his office and tells me to sit down.

The butterflies in my stomach are going insane.
“I hope he doesn't notice that I am nervous beyond anything I've ever felt before.”

Now, let's take a look at your tooth. Harvey says in a calm, focused manner.

Ok! I exclaim, with my mouth open, so it sounds like gibberish.

5 minutes pass, and he's finished.

Haley said you looked ugly with that chipped tooth, but I disagree. You looked very pretty either way. Next time, make sure you protect your face. Explains Harvey

My face turns bright red!
Maru walks in with the bill for my procedure…
Umm I think we might need to check out her red face says Maru…

Oh no need I tell her sheepishly

Well alrighty then it will be 700 g for today's visit Willow.

Alright, here you go.

I pay Maru and walk out of the door quicky trying to conceal my feelings.

Wait! Harvey exclaims before the door closes.
I'll see you later Willow!

I'm now running to the bus stop to squeal as Haley stops me.

What happened in there? You look redder than before!

It's nothing. Well, I don't know how to explain it. Harvey, just so you know handsome

Wow ok geese Willow didn't know you had the hots for Doc

While Haley types in the contact to my phone I repeatedly tell her thank you.

And then I walk home. When I get home I pull out my phone again and text Harvey

I send quicky

Then we have a nice conversation

Hi Willow It was nice to see you today. Sorry for freaking you out earlier
