Switch Nintendo Switch Co-op Farm Animals Disappeared

Most of my farm animals from my coop and all from my barn dissapeared overnight and I cannot demolish the buildings as they incorrectly say there are animals inside.

I have seen similar threads posted with no solution, is there some sort of fix or do I have to start a completely new save file?

I came here to report a similar bug on my multi-player Xbox save. Many animals have disappeared from multiple barns and coops. Some barns and coops that were once full to 12 now down to as low as 7 and 8. Cannot buy or move animals as barns and coops all claim to be full. Animals no longer appear listed on menu either. We are towards the end of year 3 and noticed at least a week ago IRL, maybe about a season ago in game

There should at least be an option to force delete a barn/coop so that the bug only has monetary consequences.

Pets disappearing is another bug but you can simply demolish the pet bowls at Robins and build new ones and buy a new pet license from Marnie, making this bug "fixable" by just spend in game money.

If we could have an option to force demolish barn/coops, this bug would become a lot more manageable.

Unfortunately, pets you buy from Marnie can also disappear due to the bug, based on other reports I've seen.
