when did the game change getting staircases for jade?

i used to go the the desert on sunday to trade jade for staircases. when did it changve and now i hav e gto figure outg a new problem.

It hasn't changed as far as I know. You may have hit a game bug? Maybe try restarting the day and make sure the calendar thinks it's Sunday and check the Desert Trader again?
