Pierre's Prime Produce Help

So I recently picked up the quest from the bulletin Board, and it is currently winter in my game. I have the greenhouse, so I figured it was still doable. But do greenhouse crops not count? I just harvested grapes, and got 6 gold star crops, but the quest didn't record them. I checked the Stardew Wiki too, and it did not say anything about including or excluding crops grown in the greenhouse. Has anyone else had issues like this?

I'm pretty sure the quest should counting this as I completed Pierre's Insane Markup Prime Produce quest by collecting Blueberries on Ginger (I have way too many plants there). If Ginger counts then there should be no way the Greenhouse doesn't. Sounds like you got hit by a bug, sorry.

Edit: D'oh!! After Ereo's post below I remembered it didn't work because Blueberries are Fruit but I was also growing a load of Corn there too and that's what finished the quest for me.

The problem is that grapes are fruit. Pierre wants vegetables. Wheat is a quick and cheap way to complete the quest in the greenhouse.

Pierre only pays you 2500 for whatever you give him, so I always give him wheat and maybe some corn. I even save 25 gold star wheat from the previous year and give him that after collecting 25 gold star hops, pumpkins, or whatever other vegetables I'm growing in the greenhouse. As long as you gather what they want for the quest and give them something that fulfills the requirements, you don't have to give them the exact items you gathered. Pierre is such a cheapskate I'm not about to sell him gold star pumpkins for 100 g each!

This works for special orders for other items too, like Gus' Giant Omlette (24 eggs). You can actually turn in items before you gather them - although do note that this does *not* finish the quest, it just gives you the 'delivery' part before the 'gathering' part.

That‘s really helpful! I keep accidentally selling or processing items I need to keep for such fetch quests and that prevents that. Thanks!
