I wanted to hate Haley so much when I first started playing, but since I've dated and married literally every possibility? Her character arc redeems her so well. She's really such a caring, bubbly person. That said, every one of the bachelors and bachelorettes are wonderful in their own way.

Yes please add Krobus! He’s so cool. The only reason I don’t choose him more is cause of all the monsters I kill in the mines. It made me feel too bad. But he’s cool if you can get over that sadness for his friends and family you kill which I couldn’t.

I have yet to pursue even a friendship with any of them, but at the moment I like Maru the most because her interests seem to most align with my own.

One of the bachelors I can't see myself ever pursuing, because he has the same name as my real-life husband. It would feel too weird, especially since the NPC is absolutely nothing like the real-life man. 
Another has the same name as my boss... and while my boss is awesome, it would feel too strange to pursue an NPC with "his" name.

I've married Leah, Elliott, Harvey, Emily, Abigail, and Maru at various times, and had Krobus as a roommate. I like Leah's personality a lot and Harvey is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. His dialogue does improve after marriage. But eventually he is just too needy and clingy and almost too grateful that you deign to marry him. (My only problem with Leah to be honest is that I can't take any more forage gifts.) I can relate to Elliott in a lot of ways but in the end I got exasperated with his freakouts over his hair. I don't mind his bit of vanity but what ever gave him the idea I would attack him with a blowtorch? Krobus is very lovable but it feels odd not having any kids around. Emily is nice but not really my type. Abigail is more fun but a bit immature. The other marriage candidates, although I like most of them at least to some degree, just don't appeal to me as someone I'd want to have around all the time. I seem to come back to Maru. She's so goodnatured, affectonate, level-headed, helpful, and has self-respect without being egotistical. She gives the best gifts. And I like science.
