Android Help Wanted notices not showing at Pierre's

This is my second game in a row where the help wanted notices have stopped showing on the board at Pierre's. I'm playing a game with some weird self imposed restrictions, so don't check the board often. But both times I've checked the board a few times and there have been notices, and then they stop. The first time I hadn't completed any before they stopped showing, and this time I've completed one (in case that's what caused the problem the other time but didn't help).

How often do you check for them? They are supposed to appear randomly and not every day. If you don’t check very often, you might have been unlucky.

on mobile, they also disappear when you use the midday save option before accepting them.

I thought I recalled them being there nearly everyday in my previous games but maybe not...
The nature of random things is of course that you can end up with a seemingly unlikely streak of bad luck, and I likely would have used the save option a couple of times too.
