Hi all,
I have been playing for about 3 months now, and I had one or two crashes when going to sleep (after the gold earned screen but before the save was done) in the first couple of months. But in the last few weeks, it has suddenly become constant and at different times. Sometimes in the crafting menu, sometimes at night. Often then I cannot reopen the game, and do a variety of re-boots, close steam, etc. Eventually it works again, but I have a crash at least every 10 game days, and often when it happens, it happens a few times in a row until I can get past that day. It has happened across 3 different save files. It doesn't always create an error log, but I have included the most recent one. I have uninstalled and re-installed the game and verified game files.
It also creates a file in the save folder that ends in "STARDEWVALLEY_SAVETMP". It is 0 bytes and I have tried deleting it but it doesn't make a difference in the crashing.
Does anyone have crashes at this rate? I see posts about it but even compared to these, mine seems excessive. I do have worries that I have a computer issue as I had the motherboard replaced under warranty, but nonetheless this seems worth it to ask for help here.
