I tried very hard once in a day and almost reached the last floor of the skull cave and I don't know why the game stopped all of a sudden and I started the day all over again.

The Juminos coming back as indentured servants with a contract preventing them from working outside when it's raining. Hey at least their Union got that concession but I thwarted them by planting all my Crops out of range so they can just hang out and play Canasta.

Saddest moment is when JojaMart closes forever. Fortunately this can be avoided by purchasing the Joja membership, with the added benefit that JojaMart will sell you as many autopetters as you want once you've bought all the repairs, rather than trusting to luck on skull cavern treasure floors

Now I'm feeling extremely distressed about the fact that I cannot befriend the hat mouse.
On the plus side, it looks like the hole in the roof is on an upper floor. It's possible that the ground floor is intact enough to keep hat mouse safe and dry.

so there is a way if he didn't patch it. you buy a new animal and use this list https://www.ign.com/wikis/stardew-valley/Item_Codes_for_Spawning_Cheat the number for the shorts is [789], the number's (up to 3) have to be in brackets like this [789]. so if you buy a chicken at marnie and name it "[789][60][70]" you'll have the shorts, an emerald and a jade in your inventory
