Worst thing about 2025?

The worst thing for me was definitely the whole 67
and this is more me but I would also say the way one my "friends" have been towards me this year
67 was obnoxious but I feel like that's a general mainstream hate. The rest depends on your fandom and associations. Also personal stuff.

So the year is ending and yeah 2025 went by in a blaze. How was your year? What do you think is the worst part about 2025? It could be a product a meme (Like 67) or a movie. Some of my personal disappointments are the delay of GTA 6, the release of the Anbernic RG DS which really dude was arguably the most hyped handheld of this year. Yet the peeps at Anbernic threw the idea into the dumpster by underpowering it. Well at least there getting flamed for it on the SBC Subreddit and also GBA temp net. The Switch 2 wasn't really anything special imo. Just a upgrade of the switch. No new gimmicks. The new Mario Kart World is also really just another Mario game. Nothing fresh. Also I noticed a wave of animation videos on YouTube asking for donations and what not with a sob story. There definitely some kind of scam because it's always the same story of homelessness. Same artstyle same lines. Most likely a scam operation but eh that's gonna get exposed eventually in 2026. On the bright side stuff like The Bad Guys 2 released which is a good sequel to a awesome movie. The AYN Thor was also awesome. I joined the forums in 2025 too so that's a positive since I really love it here. Pokemon Lazarus released and my god is that a good rom hack. Amazing sprites and also made by the developer of Pokemon Emerald Seaglass. Also I started a new playthrough of Onett Farm and hopefully in a couple of months I will share screenshots once I progress some more. That was a lot of yapping lmfaoo. Happy early New Year's folks!

In my opnion a lot of people are scared of Ai for no reason. Yes they can generate images and videos. But said videos are awful and images are so obvious. Coding is a mess. Ai hallucinates a lot when searching for things. Claude is better than Chatgpt tho imo.
I am scared of AI for a valid reason. Children have used AI chatbots in place of therapists and they have become dependent on the AI. Oftentimes these relationships end up with the kid committing suicide, and this is a completely serious topic. AI will not ever tell you that you are in the wrong. It will not give you good advice.

So it's AI, because it genuinely scares me. I trust it for some things, but chatbots are evil.

The worst thing was on June 20 that I was stuck in Arnhem because there was some problem with the rails. Later it appeared to be cable thieves. That info showed up only on the Dutch railway website and monitors, not on the German railway website despite the line I had to take went to Germany.

Ai chatbots are so funny to me since there incredible cornballs but yeah that is a serious issue. Roleplay is fine imo but using it for real life therapy is definitely not healthy. Parents should really watch there kids on the Internet.

Easier said than done. XD
This is one of the main reasons I am getting worried as well.

Imho it's difficult to protect children from this in the long term. What parents can do is repeatedly explain the consequences and teach them to be vigilant. It's not an easy task. And it's important to remember that AI is only a suggestion, not a solution. And it does not make it easier to tell facts from fake news. That's what worries me btw.

Yeah, remember when you could watch or read or see something and not have to wonder if that's AI? XD
