WORK BOOTS UPDATE!

When I was delving into this topic two years ago, I believe Femur, Elf Blade and Ossified Blade are the unobtainable ones with non-remixed mines pre 1.6.x. You are right, Ossified Blade post 1.6 can be obtained some other ways as well. Elf Blade and Femur to my knowledge are still exclusively remixed mines (pre Guild Updates).

And in 1.6.9 they'll be able to be bought from the adventurers guild

Now, I just started playing this 1.6 thingy on my ps4, and haven't fully digested anywhere near everything there is to digest, but I DID just check the Adventurer's Guild, and see no Work Boots, heh.

That's perfectly fine with me, personally, if I can't buy them. Once I have EVERY possible item that I can possibly have, instead of hanging up the game forever, I can go fishing for these dumb boots, even if it takes me 100 years! :D

That's perfectly fine with me, personally, if I can't buy them. Once I have EVERY possible item that I can possibly have, instead of hanging up the game forever, I can go fishing for these dumb boots, even if it takes me 100 years! :D

It'll be a multi-generational effort to get the elusive Work Boots, your kids will inherit this, and your kids' kids until you find it.
Do tag me if you ever find it from a fishing chest lol. I've gotten Work Boots before from FL10 Mines, but I just want to see someone succeed in fishing it out of the river once!

I haven't started 1.6 yet, are you sure there aren't other requisite conditions you haven't unlocked?

I have no idea about requisite conditions except in retrospect, I think the version we console players got is different from the new pc version (1.6.9) or something. Admittedly, I'm not savvy on these details.

As a side note, does it have to be out of the river? (Is lakes and ocean and anywhere else fine for getting Work Boots?)

Oh is that so? I also haven't checked the changelog yet for this or 1.6 in general lol, so maybe I'll find out later.
Yeah any water source for fishing qualifies, the phrasing was admittedly more banter rather than information, apologies for that.
