Intro: Sorry for the long suggestions but this is what I wish the game would have low key.....
𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 𝐈 𝐖𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐖 𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐘 𝐇𝐀𝐃
1. Make our kids grow up from toddlers to tweens to Teenagers and make a profile for them. They should look like a mix of the farmer and the selected spouse of their choice. I would also like the idea if they moved out once they're 18 either in a cute house in Cindersap forest or in Zuzu city if they have any inspiration. They should have a conscience like Vincent and Jas and they should also be going to school. And I think they should also have a job. We can choose which job they have or even if they can have a job. Please Concerned ape. Teen phase for kids – babies to toddlers is cute but let them grow up, get attitudes, maybe help on the farm or beef with villagers like Lewis
2. Make the option for travelling to Zuzu city available- Just like making Ginger island a place to visit, maybe the farmer can use a train or a bus to go to Zuzu city. They can explore and maybe meet the governor or mayor. They can also do side quests there and even live there in a house or apartment just like in Ginger island. They should also meet new bachelors and bachelorettes or NPCS there.
3. New NPCs- we need new Npcs in both Stardew valley and Zuzu city and also make them bachelors or bachelorettes (Optional).
4. 4. Zuzu city ideas- Maybe in Zuzu city, there can be lots of things there like concerts, supermarkets, football stadiums, malls, governor's house, NPCs houses or apartments etc. You know something that screams modern city vibes (I'll be back to this)
4B) Make the spouses in the marriage not lose their jobs/dreams just because they're married to the farmer. I want them to be independent and also look for jobs that can earn both of us income, and also they should purchase their dreams more and we the farmers can give them our support in cute cutscenes maybe. Imagine helping Sebastian release a game, or Haley build a fashion brand or help Leah be a well known artist, often having regular art shows.. Sam being a musician in Zuzu city and maybe Sebastian moving to Zuzu city to live his dream (that's if we didn't marry him) in Stardew Valley.
4C) SCHOOL- please Concerned ape, we need a school maybe in Stardew valley and Zuzu city. When the farmer's kids are up to Jas and Vincent's age, they can also be going to school. Maybe Penny can be the Math/English teacher, Gunther could be the history teacher, Alex could volunteer sometimes and teach the kids P.E, Sam can volunteer and teach them music. Im also thinking of high school and university in Zuzu city in case some farmers want to start afresh with their family there. School events, parent days, mini cutscenes would be cute, mauve like a spelling bee or sports day, or a show and tell day where your kids can bring random items in your house to school or you can place an item you want them to bring in a box.
4D) Justice for hat mouse. The raccoons have a house but hat mouse doesn't. It's honestly a little sad and he deserves a new cute house because he has been in the game for quite a long time before the racoons even. Maybe we help build a cute cottage as a quest. A "Boutique Restoration" quest to turn his shack into a cute hat shop would be the most wholesome update ever.
4E) We can have more talking options with kids/townspeople/spouse. To be honest, the kids are quite useless. The only thing they do is run laps around the house. Giving them speech dialogues, birthdays and schedules would make the game a little bit interesting
5. Make it available to see our parents.- Maybe we can visit our parents in Zuzu city, and see their faces for the first time. Let it be possible we can also gift them gifts and Learn the farmer's backstory a little. Maybe, Maybe even family drama or pride cutscenes. Maybe when we about about to have our baby, our parents can come over with the farmer's spouse and the spouse's family (Sam, Sebastian/Maru, Hailey/Emily, Alex, Shane,) (I'll be back to this)
6. We need our own birthdays- Now that I've thought of it, us farmers are always the ones to gift NPCs or our spouses gifts because it's their birthday but we don't have anyone doing the same thing for us. We need official birthdays maybe in the customization option. We also need our own profiles where we can see a brief picture on how the farmer looks like. Maybe if the farmer has a spouse and it's their birthday, the spouse can give them a gift and a cute message from them to the farmer or my second option is that everyone can surprise the farmer and all stand in front of the farmer's house and mayor Lewis Whole town surprises you, Mayor Lewis gives a heartfelt speech and also a Special “thank you” item to thank the farmer for all he/she has done for the community. And it would also be nice if the parents sent a letter wishing their child a happy birthday.
6. New places. We need Prairie Island! And other adventure-worthy places. Ad also adventures in Zuzu city and Prairie Island. Quests tied to Zuzu City + islands. Combat, exploration, mystery
7. More dialogue depth – like let NPCs remember past choices fr. If I marry someone, I want jealousy, growth, drama, and the whole arc. I also would like it if other NPCs get married and lived in a small house in Cindersap forest, the train station or the town. I think they should get married in the year 3 or 4 if the player has not yet chosen who they want to marry, so we give them time.(E.g Hailey and Alex. Sebastian and Abigail. Maru and Harvey. Sam and Penny. Shane and Emily. Clint and Sandy. Eliot and Leah). I also think they should hand out cute flyers and Mark the dates on the calendar and depending on your friendship status with the 8.Bachelor/Bachelorettes, it will determine if your the maid of honor or not. If your a girl farmer, your the maid of honor, if your a guy, your the best man. Fr example, if you and Hailey have a very good relationship (All hearts), she will appoint you as the maid of honor and you will have to do a big role. If Maru is getting married and you and her don't have a good relationship, she might choose another NPC as her maid of honor. I also think there could be some dramatic cutscenes like in the dressing room, Hailey could be freaking out and the girls are trying to calm her down. Te farmer walks in and Hailey talks about the problem like finding herring or something like that. You find it and save the day.
Also post marriage, it might be controversial but I think there should be a little problem between the newlyweds. Like Hailey complaining to you about Alex caring more about football than her or Emily complaining about Shane coming home late but the problem can be solved and the NPCs can thank you for your help.
9. More outfits & aesthetics – seasonal fits, dresses, old-money core, cozy pajamas… let me serve looks in Pelican Town.
10. Expanded romance – dates, breakups, rivals, secret crushes. Stardew but make it messy.
11. Better late-game content – once you’re rich-rich, give me new lands, cities, or elite farmer drama.
12. Pets that actually do stuff – guard crops, find items, follow you around like a real bestie. Also new pets and new breeds.
13. More cultural festivals – night markets, masquerade balls, harvest galas, winter formal vibes.
14. Town evolution – buildings upgrading, NPCs aging, new families moving in. Time should move.
15. I want the train station to be useful. Sure we can get rocks and other items but I really want to board the train and go to another town or city. Maybe we can unlock it by donating a lot of money or finding a specific item. Lewis can then thank us and say the economy is good and another neighboring town or city wants to open a route. Maybe the train can lead to prairie Island, Gem island or Zuzu city. There should be an option to travel wherever you want for a price of 1000G
Let Hailey and Emily's parents come back from their cruise ship!
They've been on that cruise ship for years without returning.... I think it would be really sweet if they had a short cutscene of Hailey and Emily's parents coming back to the valley by train or bus.... They would be holding suitcases and luggage and they would look rich and fancy and stuff. They would come back and tell the girls if they want to live in Zuzu city. The girls would refuse and the parents would agree and just live with their children. Hailey and Emily's mom can hang out with the rest of the moms and do aerobics with them. While the dad might be out of town for some business stuff and come home late at night by 9:00pm
16. The Farmer's Romance!
I feel the farmer marrying the bachelors and bachelorettes is kinda too basic. If the farmer wants to propose, I think there should be a cut cutscene when they gift their spouse the mermaid pendant. Or after a year, once the farmer has all hearts with the spouse, the spouse can surprise them with the mermaid pendant in a location that matches their personality (E.g Alex, Football game in Zuzu city. Sebastian, a cliff overlooking Zuzu city. Abigail, Cemetery or a secluded area.) We can choose to accept or reject and if we reject the spouse, the hearts can decrease, for example if you had 10 hearts with your spouse, if you reject their proposal, it will be 6 hearts.
II) I think there should be a cloth store that includes wedding dresses. Three days before the farmer's wedding, I think Sandy should sell wedding dresses or different styles or wedding tuxedos in different styles. Or I think in Zuzu city, In the mall section, there should be a bridal shop where they sell wedding stuffs. I also think we should allow the farmer to appoint a maid of honor for the wedding (It can be any NPC, including the ones outside of Pelican Town. E.g Hailey, Leah, Sandy). And on the wedding day, you can appoint dress codes for. the bridesmaids and the maid of honor can walk you down the aisle. After the wedding, I think we should get a cute cutscene where your spouse asks where they should go for their honeymoon. There can be a lot of options and you can pick anyone. Then a cutscene would appear, showing the farmer and their spouse in the location the framer chose. They would have fun and explore whether it's in a Cruise ship or another tropical island.
III) I think the spouse should remember anniversaries! Just like birthdays, the anniversary of their wedding should be on the calendar. When it's on that day, there should be a cute cutscene that shows the spouse giving the farmer a surprise. It can be a cake or a surprise outside. It can even be outside of Pelican Town too. I also think the farmer can give the spouse a gift too.
IV) I think the farmer and their spouse should go on little dates together on weekends. Like how robin and Demetrius go to the Saloon to dance together on Fridays, it hink there should be a special day for the farmer and spouse to have a good time together. I think the spouse should ask us out in dates and we have the option to accept or reject
17. WE WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT GRANDPA
Since Lewis and Grandpa were good friends, I think it would be nice if they're was a heart event that shows Lewis talking about Grandpa and his legacy. I think the farmer needs to know more about their grandpa and his legacy in Pelican Town.
18. Community Center Themes - Allows players to change the theme of the Community Center, some such themes could be Cottage, Goth, Cave, Future, etc.
More accessories! Like new hairstyles, outfits, accessories etc.
