Why can’t I get this club

I’ve been going to the ginger island cave looking for the dragontooth club and I just can’t find it in rare chest. I continuously brought a lucky ring, rock candy, and ginger ale every very happy day and still nothing. Does anyone know what will help?

I had a tough time too. I ignored luck and just went to floor 9 every day first thing in the morning. Took FOREVER.

The wiki doesn't state the %chance for it to be in a chest. I'd be curious to know. I definitely went for more than a year.

Luck isn't going to change the chances of finding things in the Volcano Dungeon:

Rare Chests in the Volcano Dungeon

Instead you have a flat 1/27 chance to get it from a

Rare Chest. Just go every day like @BeBop268170 said and you'll get it eventually. I just got the Dragonscale Boots but of course really want the Mermaid Boots and Deluxe Pirate Hat! Oh well, more Volcano runs!

but the chance for a chest to be rare is influenced by luck, isn’t it?

I see the increase in the number of Fishing Treasure Chests and Skull Cavern Treasure Rooms on the Luck page but the Volcano Dungeon isn't mentioned there. But as you said, the Volcano Dungeon Wiki page mentions there's an increased chance for a Chest to be Rare with increased Luck, which I missed. No mention if it's Daily or Buff Luck though sooo… ¿Por qué no los dos?
