Haley. Her character arc is the most dramatic. Of course it's easy to hate her early on, but as your relationship improves she actually becomes really sweet, and you get to see past her defense mechanisms.

I think Emily is probably my favorite. She is has a great personality, but the mysticism is a little strange.

I used to be straight put off by Emily's alternative set of beliefs until someone pointed out that Witches fly across our Farms on brooms for the purpose of dropping off warm, black poisonous eggs and repainting all my Slimes. And a fairy will occasionally make a bunch of my crops grow faster. And there's a fat, hungry Raccoon who cosplays as Beary Poppins when you feed him enough. And decapitated flying skulls occasionally drop totally-not-copied-from-Doctor-Who teleporting Mannequins. And Bears make phone calls to compliment you on your taste in condiments. And charlatan illusionists living in hollowed-out cairns can teleport away with a seeming snap of the fingers when later you find you can do the same with a painted table leg bought from an amiable, ethereal spectre. Nah. Emily's the only one who's paying attention while everyone else remains blissfully unaware.
