Honestly I don't hate any villager that much, a nice thing with the game is that it makes the npcs rather people-ish, and doesn't lean too far into caricature, so its hard to really hate any of them as they're not really single faceted.
That being said, there are a few that I don't love the traits of. Morris is too outright and dismissive of the people who live in the valley as a means to an end, rather than actual people. Pierre is too much like the thing he hates (his competition/joja) and doesn't focus on his family as much as he should. Lewis hurts Marnie by valuing his own image over her (thinking people will judge his position as mayor if he's found to be in an innocent relationship). The list goes on, I could probably say something small about every single villager, which shows that they're dynamic characters and not just meant to each represent a single concept.
The same goes for villagers I like, I don't think there are any npcs that are absolutely perfect and stand out as a lone favourite, but I like how Emily supports her sister while her parents are gone, how Abigail/Sam/Sebastian all do things each of them like (playing music, the SDV DND equivalent I've forgotten the name of, etc.), how Linus/Willy take care of Leo, how friendly Sandy is with her greetings when you enter her shop, and so on.
