Which Stardew Valley food would you love to eat and which would be vomit-inducing to you?

I thought I'd try my hand at a forum game. All the NPCs have their loved foods and their hated ones what are yours and why? A fruit, a vegetable, a cooked item, as long as it can be eaten in Stardew Valley.

For me a vomit-inducing food would be Algae Soup. I happily chow it down in-game for an energy/health boost but making soup from slimey-looking algae that you've fished out of a lake just after some soggy newspaper or that has been "dropped" by slimes is kind of gross. I'm with Sam on the Pizza though. It's my favourite (favorite) Margherita Pizza and made with my summer tomatoes and homemade cheese. Nice.

I'd love to try out magic rock candy, it's a universal loved gift and rather expensive, so I'd assume there must be something amazing about it.


As for my hated dish, I think I'm going to give a slight repeat but pale broth...

, even the description says 'with a hint of sulphur' which just sounds absolutely disgusting.

Pizza because I love pizza. I can eat one in one sitting. Definitely something like bug steak since yeah it's bug steak.

Pink cake looks so delicious, and I would love to find out if it has a watermelon taste due to its recipe calling for watermelon. And for a not-so-tasty snack, that Moss soup looks kinda nasty... I'd still probably eat it though-

but i know from experience that I wouldn't like the Fried calamari. (I tried it once, i just couldn't deal with the fact that the suckers were still on )

Well, the likes are most of the bakery, even Poppyseed Muffin. The dislikes go for everything connected with sea food (not fish) and peppers, cause irl I'm kind of allergic to that... But in SDV I love Spicy Eel and Pepper poppers. And I probably wouldn't eat that pale broth or mossy/algae Soup.

I would love the blueberry tart and I think the green bean hotpot...the strange bun has extra dimensional chicken mayo in it, plus a slug.

I'd love to try Pumpkin Soup, my no is probably strange bun, it's literally made with void mayonnaise, which has the description of tasting like burnt hair.

For hate it would be lucky lunch. I'm sure my farmer loves it, but sea cucumbers and blue jazz together doesn't sound very appetizing to me.

Any kind of sweet baked good, but my number one would be the Maple Bar
As for vomit-inducing, probably the seafoam pudding -- I'm allergic to fish IRL (so technically all fish dishes) but the seafoam pudding needs more than one fish to make which would make me sick to the max, lol
