1.6 Update What happened in your game today?

Lucky you! Idk if you have to like him forever now (maybe this one was just stacked around somewhere his store and he needed the place so he thought it might be a good gift and to have it out of his sight anyway)... Give him a sashimi every now and then

I'm going with the idea that he just regifted one of Caroline's old teasets.

This was the one item I've been trying to get in all of my saves. I even re-played the festival day dozens of times in some of my saves, but no luck... So I'm glad I finally have it, even though it is of course totally useless. LOL!!!
I have a living hat, and I think I once got crystal shoes, but I may be misremembering that one.

I think the only rare items I don't have in any of my saves now are those arcade games - I seriously suck at both games, so it's not likely to happen.

In this game I'm stil looking for the living hat, the crystal shoes, and most importantly, the mermaid boots. I love those boots.

Mostly kept on top of the chores. The mushroom/roe shed now has 112 preserve jars and just 16 dehydrators. Will have to see what I do when I've replaced the remaining mushroom logs, but I might end up replacing the last few dehydrators with preserve jars too for pickled mushrooms and ancient fruit jelly. Reached Fall and fast approaching the Fair. Almost another year ahead of the fanfic...

So, yeah, um Buddy's going for perfection. Among stuff he needs is a lobster for lobster bisque for the cooking list. He does not feel like tending crab pots or gambling on pig lady's inventory. Elliot's birthday is two weeks away, so Buddy bought the Statue of Endless Fortune for the birthday lobster. Elliot will get some squid ink that Buddy nicked from the corpse of a squid kid he killed.

Skipped the Fair to turn the kegs on Ginger Island over to a new cycle, so my in-laws got to win for the first time in 15 years. Unless I've missed a Fair some other year.

I finally stoped being lazy and filled in my whole farm (and who here is a anime lover?

So for the last 65 game years, every single morning, the very first thing I do is grab the Iridium Ore from my Statue of Perfection, the Prismatic Shard from my Statue of True Perfection, and whatever random thingy that's produced by my Statue of Endless Fortune, and plop them in a Chest, all in one deft, well practiced, nigh automatic maneuver, before starting my day. It only takes a fraction of a second, but...

Today, I finally decided that I have enough of that crap, and put my Statues away. I now have 7 stacks of Prismatic Shards, which I presume is some kind of record.

I'll spare you a picture, dear reader, trusting that you can easily imagine what 7,000 Prismatic Shards looks like.

In other news, earlier today I forgot to check the book seller when it was there. I really, really don't like missing the book seller. But whatever! ^.^ Have fun!

I had never seen a Goby Frenzy, so I dropped what I was doing and went to investigate.

But the frenzy was INSIDE the waterfall, where one cannot fish, at all.

Ignore my face please, I was in the process of stuffing it.

Weird.

Yeah, kinda weird. I never had such a Frenzy before, just the "normal" fish at all. Almost salmonlike behaviour, climbing up the waterfalls
