Monday I went to Ginger Island. I picked up a Qi's Kindness quest, found a walnut in a barrel in the volcano and harvested my fruit trees. I decided to stay for the night, and went to the Pirate's Cove to win three walnuts at darts. Only took me four tries. I like that mini-game.
The next morning I picked more fruit, and now I have enough bananas to get my obelisk. I will need to smelt the iridium bars, though. I forgot about those.
I ran around town giving presents , managed to get 24 gifts distributed on the first day. Also got Leo's last cut scene.
The quests on the board were to fish for tilapia, and to ship 100 melons to Zuzu city in the next 3 weeks.
I wanted to visit the book seller, but I couldn't because I didn't have either my sword or any of the scythes on me, and the way was blocked by weeds. It was a bit too late to do anything about it. I'm in no hurry, I only need three more books - the Horse book and the two Way of the Wind books. They're always there.
The next day was another gifting day. I got up to 48 before it was too late to find anyone. Made some more iridium bars.
Thursday was the Luau, which was annoying, as I wanted to get my obelisk and get those last two gifts out of the way. Instead, I talked to Leo, added my red cabbage to the soup and told Lewis to get started with the tasting already. It was, of course, out of this world... I hadn't expected anything else.
Friday I gifted Wizard a void essence and built the Island Obelisk. Then I gifted Vincent a grape, picked up the melon quest after all, bought 84 melon seeds.
I went to Ginger Island with my new Qi-gems. I traded some of my spare walnuts for more Qi gems, bought 4 pressure nozzles and the recipe for blue grass.
I then planted 48 melon seeds on Ginger Island and used the sprinkler that was in the pineapple patch (with pressure nozzle) to water them.
Went back to my farm, harvested my red cabbages and planted another 24 melons. I have a total of 96 melons growing now.
I was about 6,000 XP short of my last Mastery on Saturday, so I spent most of the day gathering hardwood and stone. I passed out on the way back to the farm. Did the same on Sunday, without the passing out. I am now about 3,000 XP short.
