How are you getting so many crackers!?

Mostly from artifact spots and chopping down trees, I think. Let's see... *tallies crackers* I think I've found and used 32 crackers so far. Fish ponds, ostriches, rabbits, dino, and cow.

When I want one or more, I make some treasure totems and use them on a very lucky day. If I don't get one in 2-3 totems, I reload the day and try again.

Hi, I'm new here. I played SV when it was new (started around November 2016), was heavily invested for a year or two and then let it slide.
I got back into it last year, and I'm now working my way through all the farm types. I'm on my fifth farm, a Wilderness farm, and I'm currently grinding for the clock...

This time around my farmer married Abigail. She just killed a golem for me. (Mind you, I've been killing iridium golems left and right on that farm, but it's the thought that counts, right?)

I'm currently filling my farm with fish ponds, but Abby keeps hinting she'd like to raise slimes... So maybe I'll get a hutch next season.

I gave Penny a diamond for her birthday and she started crying. I went ahhh, crap, I thought this was a loved gift! Did the wiki lie to me! ....then she said she wasn't used to such kindness. Considering I married her in my first save (my "real" save, the rest are just exploring maps and playstyles), I evidently missed that my first round.

Sometimes it feels like I never get off the farm with how many chores there are to do. Checking the ponds, put the machines in the barns and coops over to a new cycle, tend the kegs and preserve jars. Only some chores do take me off the farm. Like collecting from tappers or mushroom logs up at the railroad, or the diamond-producing crystallariums near the tunnel, or checking on my Ginger Island farm.

Last time, the "jelly and fish roe" shed was half occupied by fish roe. Three days of gathering Legend and Legend II roe resulted in 64 roe... Seems like I might have to rearrange things soon. Some fruits are starting to pile up. I could upgrade the mushroom shed and move the fish roe processing there.

Spring year 1, making my way down the mines, floor 86. There's 2 Shadow Shamans and a Shadow Brute.

I kill a Shadow Shaman.. drops an Iridium Bar. Kill the Shadow Brute.. Iridium Bar. Other Shaman, Iridium Bar.

The odds of that should be like 1 in 125 MILLION.

I finished the day and checked the TV the next morning and got the rare absolutely neutral luck, which I can't recall having ever seen, so I'm happy ^.^

Wow, must have been a real high luck day or the spirits found you're in very need of three Iridium Bars

That's how I feel about it, too... Some days you're only busy with running around collecting/watering/replanting crops, petting/feeding animals, refilling machines... and in the blink of an eye every shop's closed and the day's over Mostly time for some late night fishing or Quarry bombing

I don't bomb the Quarry. I don't want to destroy the saplings. They're a nice wood resource once they've grown.

Upgraded the mushroom shed. Now I just need to make a bunch more preserve jars to prepare for moving the roe processing there. Maybe also another 8 dehydrators to round things out. It does mess with my internal math, needing to calculate by 80 rather than by 50. Will need to increase the mushroom log grove too or I'll run out of mushrooms... *sigh*

I don't bomb the Quarry. I don't want to destroy the saplings. They're a nice wood resource once they've grown.

I like it very much but you are right, the saplings have to be small trees already, otherwise they will be destroyed. But that's a question of timing, I would say

Half of Winter is nearly over and Farmer Ray made a bit progress on GI. Found enough golden Walnuts to rebuilt the Beach Resort, explored the pirate cave but hasn't met the pirates yet, completed the Fields Office and got the Ostrich Incubator and finally a Banana Sapling, too. And got an Ostrich Egg while digging for Walnuts, so the first Ostrich is in breeding now. And he unlocked the Island Trader, so he can finally be a Flower gardener in Spring and build a few more bee houses. He also took part in the Squid Festival and got the "Art of crabbing" as a reward, it was the last book left to read, so he's well-read now, too. Unfortunately he still hasn't found enough Dragon tooth to build the Island Obelisk. But Winter isn't over yet...

Moved stuff around between chests. With the pickling and jelly sheds carrying much of the produce, I gathered what remained, and the seeds, and put them in one chest. Freed up one big chest to hold the full stacks waiting to be sold. I have got rid of partial stacks of stuff that's not mass-produced, like the pickled parsnips, or smoked fish.

Fish roe processing has been moved to the mushroom shed despite it not being up to capacity on preserve jars.
