Finally got off the procrastination wagon and got the achievement for crafting all things. Last thing made was a beehive. Seems like I'd got a total of 5 from the bundles and the prize machine and wasn't sure if I had made one or not.
Done some Skull Cavern runs, mostly aiming to complete the monster hunter goals. Still needs about 7 mil for a golden clock, so the race is on whether I'll find enough Pepper Rex for the goal or if I'll earn enough. Ensuring that the sheds are busy processing is higher priority than getting off to the desert early enough to get all the way to 100 without using too many staircases. I'm also trying to avoid using too many bombs, so there's less to buy/make for the first serious attempt.

It's seemingly more worth it to buy perfection wavers than it is to buy the golden clock. So, if you're willing to forgo the clock and buy waivers, save your time.
If you're going for a Joja-less run, and you don't mind cheating, you could cheat in a high-selling item, like the Legend. Then Gus will have a dialogue option where he'll say your name, and you can have him say it multiple times, so you can rack up millions in minutes.

Difficult to do, since I don't intend to check the perfection tracker until after I've achieved perfection.

To go for a Joja-less run, I'd not only have to beat that crystal game, I'd also have to win the dart game. The latter is pretty much impossible for me, and in either case both games are frustrating enough that I haven't even tried one round of them this playthrough. The 60,000 the parrot wants is a small price to pay to avoid wanting to throw my phone across the room. I have yet to pay, in the hope that I'll get the urge to make an attempt at the crystal game.

Currently needing about 4.5 mil, 27 Pepper Rex, (and 6 golden walnuts). I think I could shake loose over half the money with what I've hoarded in my chests. Even if I got the money for the clock fast I'd still need to chase down those dinos. So I see no reason to cheat.

Reached level 100 of Skull Cavern without using a single staircase, and while I was worried I'd brought too few bombs, I had more than half of them left (about 80 reduced to just over 40). Yes! Now I can take Qi quests about reaching that floor and use as many staircases as I want without being chided for it. Not that I need to complete any of his quests at this point, but it would give me a reward as I try to get enough pepper rexes. Nearing the end of my third year, so it feels nice to have that part out of the way. The entry on my quest list had been taunting me since Winter year 1.
I really like the magic quiver trinket. It keeps most enemies at bay while I look for the staircase or hole.

I will never understand people who find the crystal game hard. Never. Literally never. It's just... Simon says. No, seriously, never will I understand the struggle. Of course, I do have an advantage, that being I play on switch and can just save a video of the pattern, so... I guess I'm just cheating.

And I have a good short term memory. And it is just Simon Says with an extra button.
