1.6 Update What happened in your game today?

I shouldn't have said this. I regret it.

I'm not prepared to sacrifice my eggs!

My precious, precious Golden Eggs! >:0
On second thought, neither am I, at the moment. I stopped feeding them because it just takes too long to buy hay like you said, so I doubt they’re producing near as much as they used to (haven’t even checked).

I learned today that my quest isn't over, and I need to start a new farm! I'm going with Remixed Bundles, since I've never done that. 25% profits again, I suppose, since that's the MANLY way of playing. And... I guess... Meadowlands?

My goals are the following:
14 Hearts with Penny for a new rug.
Gift away a Secret Note/Journal Scrap to see if I can get them back, for science! (And if I can, then keep one of each).
All 5 Legendary Fish. I guess I'll go with iridium qualities this time.
Keep the Pirate's Locket.

I guess that's all I need for this next run.

Reached year 3, got 4 candles, and in my hurry to plant seeds and get them watered, I forgot to pick up the reward until day 2. Took on the Qi fruit quest, so I made a bunch of treasure totems. Now I know what I'll be doing for most of Spring, I guess. Good thing most of Ginger Island is still unfarmed.

Shipped over 500 Qi fruits. Also been swearing a bit over the choices Qi has given me. I've yet to see an Extended Family quest. Hopefully grumbling about it here will cause the RNG to give me one. Completed the Museum, got the last fish on the list caught, and cooked the final dish. Got 1 person left to befriend, 3 monster goals, and some hefty purchases ahead of me.
About time for me to start working on the crafting, while playing around with my third Danger in the Deep quest. With me and Shane having started a baby, I'm not so sure chasing radioactive ore is the best choice, but I do need it for crafting.

Have been slacking off with the crafting, and only in part because I finally got an Extended Family quest. Now I'm set for quite a while, with a haul of 12 Legend II needing ponds. Completed the quest too with a few hours to spare. I do need to remember to buy the remaining recipes next time I'm visiting Robin. Fall began as I had the first new pond made, getting me distracted with planting, then getting further distracted with the Skulll Cavern to chase the remaining monster goals even if I seem to keep forgetting to bring bombs, which makes any mummy floor a nuisance. At least I've crafted one of all the stuff that require radioactive ore/bars.
Bought the last two obelisks in one go, and have now befriended all villagers. Feels good to tick off boxes. I'm relying on a handwritten tally and will only check the perfection tracker once I've reached perfection.

After taking a break and playing through the entirety of South Park: The Stick of Truth, I jumped back into Frump Farm and Farmer Wednesday finally completed the last monster hunter goal! I really hope 1.7 includes some way to increase the odds of prehistoric floors. ^_^

I also finally got the fossilized spine (the professor kept telling me to fish but I kept catching snake skulls) to complete the island museum. I have more than enough of everything needed to craft the ostrich egg incubator and already have an ostrich egg ready to go.

Meanwhile, I hatched three slimes in the island farmhouse and the blue and tiger slimes have already had a baby slime. I discovered you can plant cactus outdoors on the island farm so that's where all the cactus seeds my scorpion carp pond keeps giving me have been planted. And all of my goats have golden animal crackers now (I fished those up trying to get the spine).

Went for a SC run, the most fun I've had in a while, because I found out that my skull cavern chest has 230 bombs. I always try to be resourceful with these, waiting for one bomb to explode before setting off another. Because if the first one reveals a ladder/shaft, then what, I wasted the second one? Can't allow that. And I know that I'm wasting time waiting, that my army of quartz crystalariums will make me more bombs and it's not a big deal... And still. Anyways here's everything I got from that trip. Only used 4 staircases for infested floors.

Next day went to ginger island, and right as I stepped off Willy's boat, I saw a panning spot. I was about to ignore it, but thought: eh I carry my enchanted-upgraded-to-iridium pan for a reason, not cuz i want to waste an inventory slot. So i panned the spot and got the lucky ring! Definetily getting that thing into the forge soon. Then I got distracted by bubbles and spent next few hours fishing. Then picked up skull cavern invasion quest, and bought the key to the town and a horse flute. Spent the rest of the evening deforesting the island and then the desert (trading in my omni geodes for 10 artifact troves to finish the museum) after hitting one tree these appeared all over:

I was very confused at first but they did look pretty so I ran around and watched them glow, twinkle and change colors till I passed out. Pretty sure it's a mod thing, probably debris in the air.
And yeah I did give Sandy a birthday gift

We've all been there. 😄

Farmer Wednesday has her ostrich egg incubating!

When going to the island farm to harvest the 100 artichokes Lewis requested at the beginning of the month (I always relocate all my excess sprinklers to the island for just such an occassion), I stumbled upon a ladies trip, so decided to let Wednesday hang out and fish for a while. A couple irridium quality ones are being saved for the fair (I've decided Wednesday is going to keep Pierre humble by beating him every year) and the rest are being smoked for a quick profit.

I need an eel and a sea cucumber to finish cooking every recipe, build a stable (I keep forgetting that), and earn another 2.5 million for the golden clock. Then, I'll have accomplished all my goals for Frump Farm (once I have a pair of ostriches, of course).

Farmer Wednesday has coninued her winning streak at the fair. Sebastian was happy that the fortune teller predicted they'd have a long and happy future together. All in all, a succcessful day.

The day after was raining, so I decided to fish and actually use the challenge bait that's been sitting in a trunk for a year. I caught so many eels, sardines, anchovy, albacore, and super cucumber. And one sea cucumber! I was then able to make the last two recipies. Also, Wedneaday needs to start feeding Sebastian something other than sashimi. She's made him over 250 and Year 3 isn't even done yet.

I couldn't find Virgil (one of the cats) in the house and it turned out, he still went outside for the day. He also caught a shrimp despite Frump Farm being a Hilltop Farm. So apparently, Virgil had a busy day, too.

The baby ostrich hatched and it is adorable!

I hatched a red slime in the island farmhouse, and the blue & tiger slimes had a white baby.

1.4 million to go for the golden clock.

Still forgot about the stable. Maybe that will be a nice Winter project for Robin.

Jesus that's a productive day. I also love fishing on raining days it's so fun and you get a ton of money.

Rainy Fall days are the best time to fish! Especuslly when the last two recipies you need to make require an eel and a sea cucumber. 🙂 It seems kind of a mixed bag here, but I'm one who really likes the fishing mini game.

And I have Song 2 stuck in my head now, lol.
