Also got to the top of the volcano, gave my galaxy sword three random forges, enchanted my pickaxe with the prismatic shard you get (it was efficient, if you were wondering), had time to go back to floor seven, had more time to get molten jelly to play for once, and still had time to go to professor snail's tent, all in 16 in-game hours. This is why you stock up on endless crab cakes after that one scene with willy and gus.

I made pumpkin jelly and mayonnaise, then crafted a bunch of stuff to get a few steps closer to perfection. If you were on my farm you would understand how busy I was but it sounds boring when I say it

Today I participated in the squid fest and made a ton of money on smocked fish
Spent it on goats and sheep filling up deluxe barn completely and asked Robin to build a second coop. A mod that I'm using (better things) adds more dinosaurs and I want a separate coop dedicated just to dinos

Dinosaur coop sounds awesome! Would love an update photo showcasing them.
Since birds are descended from dinosaurs, I call my non-rabbit coop the dinosaur coop.

Today I got perfection on Winter 22 year 3. That's the fastest I've done it. Some quirks of mine: I don't like fishing, so didn't fish at all on the first spring. I did remixed community center, and while I didn't [buy any perfection waivers, I *did* pay to get the last 15 golden walnuts. Life is too short for me to do the dart game or the 'simon says', or to bother with the Mermaid. I mean, I did them all once, but I didn't enjoy it, so I'm permitting myself to skip that. I probably could've reached perfection earlier if I'd replaced my rainbow trout fish pond with a legendary fish a lot earlier, but it didn't occur to me for a while. If I wasn't such a hoarder, I probably would've had the cash a couple of days earlier (the golden clock was of course the last thing I needed), but I am. So now I'm going to let poor Mike (my farmer) take a break. :-)

Today I hit 120 attempts at bombing my ginger island weed farm (previously ancient fruit that was sacrificed), hoping for the living hat. I’ve calculated it’ll take around 250 attempts (don’t ask how many irl hours), and I’m getting burnt out already. But the reward will be worth it…. It will be worth it, right…? Only one way to find out….

Today, Abigail ordered a piece of furniture for the first time in 4 and a half years of marriage, and unfortunately, it doesn't fit any of the aesthetics anywhere on the farm: a purple office chair.
But purple is her color, so I'll hopefully find some way to make it work somewhere.
For reference, here's what my farm and my only recreational shed look like right now. Lately, my primary focus of gameplay is getting a complete family photo album, which includes, but is not limited to, photos of Abby and both kids at every variation of festival that they all participate at. I'm almost done. Just need to get to the Even-year Flower Dance. I started with marrying Abby around the first Sunday of Fall Year 2. I always liked proposing to her in front of the Wizard's Tower.
(Maybe the Aquatic Sanctuary in the shed will have a fresh batch of Qi's Extended Family fish...)

Also, for those who have been following my posts about my IRL Stardew Valley Cookbook attempts, I will say that I've been making a point of mostly planting crops that are ingredients to in-game recipes. Exceptions are usually for repeating plants that save me a lot of harvesting trouble like strawberries.
