Correct, 1,532. I'm just so used to seeing it in stack form haha. I used the slingshot a lot in the past but in my runs for iridium now I use mega bombs almost exclusively, unless I need to break a rock to place a staircase, or there are 2-3+ nodes by a wall. I feel like I've perfected my skill cause I've tried so much. Good luck crushing your record!I suppose you're saying you got 1,532 Iridium Ore in a run. I haven't gone on an Iridium Ore run in a while but I never hit 1,000. I'm going to try again soon. I've learned a few things so I'm confidant I can crush my old record, even though I don't slingshot.
Woww ok I wanna know your strategy…! Do you buffer between floors?Just finished my first Iridium Ore run in a long time. Very difficult because my poor ps4 runs at like 2 frames per second because I have over 1500 animals.
But I came away with 2,213 Iridium Ore. I had good luck but not very good luck. 17 Prismatic Shards. Here's a screenshot of my inventory when I woke up.

As you can plainly see, I'm not wearing any pants.
I staircased down to floor 800 asap (I got there at 1:30pm I believe). And I pause between floors, yep. I ignore treasure rooms entirely, I have over 130 Auto-Petters so I'm good on that.Woww ok I wanna know your strategy…! Do you buffer between floors?
do you still enjoy the game?I staircased down to floor 800 asap (I got there at 1:30pm I believe). And I pause between floors, yep. I ignore treasure rooms entirely, I have over 130 Auto-Petters so I'm good on that.
Then I just run around and megabomb everything. You can pause after bombs go off too, maybe that helps. I had the dangerous version of the Skull Caverns toggled on, probably a bad idea, not sure.
For rings I prioritize magnetism so double Iridium Bands+Glowstone Rings. I used the Rapid Magic Quiver to help keep the baddies away.
Oh! I make sure I got the +1 Ore Mining Proffesion and the +1 Ore Statue Of The Dwarf King Perk. Statue of Blessings gave me a speed buff. Once I hit floor 800 I ate a Magic Rock Candy and drank Qi seasoned Triple Espresso (though I'm sure they wore off and I didn't notice).
That's all I can think of right now.
The mushroom tree will grow back in spring. It will seed more mushroom trees if you leave it alone, so don't chop it down if you want more.I got the strange capsule event and the rare mushroom tree event but I forgot to chop it down on the last day so I lost it. I'm trying to get the glacierfish but I lost it. I need to do another skull cavern run. But something funny happened in the mines because whenever I go on floor 76 or 71 of the mines, it's like it transported me to the quarry mines and I have to fight off dozens of haunted skulls, have no idea what's happening. Also I don't think I have enough chests... Failed the bug meat quest again.
thank you, I was going to panicThe mushroom tree will grow back in spring. It will seed more mushroom trees if you leave it alone, so don't chop it down if you want more.
Once you have been to the quarry mine, you can randomly encounter a quarry level in the regular mines.
For the bug meat quest, I find it is helpful to clear out the area in the sewer as well as go hunting in the mines.
Yeah, that's why I now don't go into the quarry mine at all. With the iridium scythe from Grandpa's mancave, there's nothing I need in there. And I hate those haunted skulls. Bad enough they sometimes show up during the desert festival, I don't want them getting in the way of my nice tame mines. If I want a challenge, I'll go to the end game mines, thank you very much. The regular mines are my place of relaxation where (once I upgrade my weapons) I can kill things easily with one swipe.Once you have been to the quarry mine, you can randomly encounter a quarry level in the regular mines.
wait, which area in the sewers? I didn't unlock the mutant bug lair yetThe mushroom tree will grow back in spring. It will seed more mushroom trees if you leave it alone, so don't chop it down if you want more.

Oh, sorry, mutant bug lair. That one. Gets you a lot of bug meat, resets daily.wait, which area in the sewers? I didn't unlock the mutant bug lair yet
