What foraging profession would you pick

Iridium quality pickups is the best, because it also entails chance for more picked up items than 1x, to spawn. (extremely good combo with pigs and truffles)

Until i get there myself though, i opt for the woodcutter + Hardwood chance from all chopped trees, ones.

The rest are usually considered trivial...
thought so thanks and glad to see another Haley fan my personal favorite wife option

Do you stick with Woodcutter or swap to iridium later on?

I usually go for extra wood and hardwood at first, then switch to iridium forage once I have more than one stack of wood. At that point, it isn't about the money earned or the effort saved - I just like getting iridium horseradish for Krobus. I tried Tracker out, but I worry about overlooking the indicators triangles. And then, I also get anxious if I see them, but don't want to detour to go looking for whatever it is. Like, I feel guilty if I don't check it out, but if I do, half the day has gone by and I haven't done anything.

Honestly I usually go Tracker just because by the time I hit foraging 10 I'm still working on the museum and being able to autofind dig spots and panning sites is just so convenient for that. Like Iridium Quality Foraging is nice but I'm making way more money off Artisan and don't sell enough foragables so the difference is pretty negligible for me, and extra hardwood is nice but tree fertilizer and mahogany seeds usually mean hardwood isn't really a scarce resource at that point.
