What do you do/what do you spend your gold on in Spring?

Just seeing the different ways that I can do things. Some people get the watering can upgrade first, some the pickaxe or axe. Some get the backpack and Fiberglass rod upgrade.

Or some might focus on animals or whatever. Just wanting some ideas. I tend to do the same thing over and over, and I am wanting to spice things up. I usually fish a lot for gold, I'll get what upgrades I can (If I get enough gold and smelt enough bars I'll get the Pickaxe and Axe Upgraded). I like getting the backpack upgraded ASAP, and the Fiberglass Rod ASAP.

I don't mind the mines, but I do usually fish more, making my way down to level 100 pretty slow (Any ideas there would be nice). I've gotten better with the mines, but I wouldn't mind some tips and tricks.

Honestly you're best off spending money on the things that'll immediately pay themselves off, or that'll make your life a lot easier in the short (and long term). Generally that boils down to crops/basic animal infrastructure/fishing rod, or things like the regular tool upgrades, backpack. If you like to fish more, that'll probably be the backpack and rod like you said, though if you want to work on going down in the mines faster, the copper pickaxe alone literally makes a world of difference, and the iron is enough to get you through the entire mines pretty easily.

People will inevitably do different things depending on how they like to play and how experienced they are, as it doesn't really make much difference in the end. It's better to choose something you do like and spend money on that than having to feel pressured to spend money on specific things in a specific order each time you play.

Giant plush bunny is first. Second is copper pickaxe. I use the training rod until I can get the iridium rod, so the other early purchases are a coop, backpack upgrade, and a workbench (the order varies).
