Wasserbrook Farm

So this is our actual Wasserbrook Farm, my first Multiplayer Game at Riverland Farm. Ranger and Annie are in summer Year 2 now, but that's how we started first... And my partner is a huge fan of braziers and light spots so the farm looks pretty nice at night, I think. And I love how the farm looks in Winter 🥰

Looks great! Riverlands is a challenge I still have not accepted, kudos to you and others who have risen to the occasion. I'm too much of a comfy nut, love Forest too much, and was mildly traumatized by Hilltop's annoyances to the extent I changed that farm back to Standard. So I know I'd lose my marbles trying Riverland!

I used my forum name instead of "Dude" this time, but yeah, it's been a decent playthrough thus far.

Start of the farm. The cat apparently likes hanging out in the parsnips. :cat:

I upgraded my TV into a Fish TV. Sometimes the weatherman points anxiously at my fish.
The Queen of the Sauce just looks demented and hungry.

I got the cat a Party Hat, because she needed one (her name is apparently "Midnight", and she's cute).

I went into Annie's house to relax for a bit and sit on her chair, and then i looked over at the fish tank and saw midnight just sitting there.
Staring at me.
Judging me.

Okay so, Annie had just gifted me some new shoes and then Haley, as normal, finds the absolute rudest possible thing to say.
The absolute nerve.

I got Midnight a little green ribbon to match my dapper outfit that the RNG gods had gifted me, and she looks ABSOLUTELY MARVELOUS in it, and I think she knows it.. I'll take a picture of her sleeping later, the one i have doesn't do it justice.

@Cuddlebug has a pic of the Skull mines (the one near the quarry with all the floating heads) and...nightmare fuel. Farmer Bobbi would have noped out of it, and i contemplated it for a brief second before charging into more than a dozen Skulls with Farmer Annie. We didn't get a pic before charging in, but the pic Cuddlebug has shows a little more than half of the skulls that started out.

Thank you 😊 We both wanted to give riverland a chance and yeah, we'll see where it leads us. Also we splitted the chores a bit, me doing mainly the farming and he caring for the chickens and ducks so far... and hopefully some rabbits soon, and a Dino 🥰 And Ranger loves foresting, that's why there're so many trees left.

The only thing that bugs me about winter is the way cobblestone paths look on the snow.
Besides that it does look great!
Use Crystal paths for winter goodness. I'll post pics come next winter, we are mid summer right now. No pun intended

And this is how it currently looks, as I already said in another thread, yesterday we unlocked the greenhouse 😎
I think an explalnation for the layout of the farm a little bit would help, so here goes.

In front of the farmhouse is Annie's farming area and Stuff (tm). The island to the south with the pier is fishpond island (we haven't really named it, but we always knew it would be a fishpond from sometime in year 1.

The island to the Left I've kept as a kind of Nature Preserve. We have barely touched it since the very beginning, and it looks just as it looked when the farm started. I put in paths and a fishing spot, and then the ducks started eating all the grass, so I put in a mushroom log bc i could. Other than that, that's all. Oh I seeded a few mahogany trees.

The island in the bottom right is kinda just free land. I think we have a fruit tree there? idk what's going on there. I don't think Annie does either. To the upper left of the Forest Island is Duck Island. We got our owl statue there and didn't move it so I put in a fern tree and a brazier there, to honor the owls. It's the one flame source on the farm I never turn off.

To the left of that is Bunny Island. Currently awaiting bunnies, but until then I keep it is a source of wood.

Bottom left is my island. I harvest wood here mainly, and am currently seeding it with Mahogany to replace all the Pine, hence the chippers. I've also got a fishing spot there which looks pretty incredible at night. It's a nice little spot. And then my cabin, I'll take a picture of the updated inside of it later. It's been through some changes.

Currently we just have the Bulletin Board and the Vault left in the CC, and we just ramped up money production heavily in our last session (we weren't taking things too seriously and the ducks probably made most of our money). But smoking fish has turned out to be an amazing source of income. The accursed Flounders smoke for a decent amount at Gold quality, and they're super easy to catch. I'm still trying to figure out what is going to be a go-to fish for summer, but come Autumn, I will be sitting in my fishing spot pulling up Tiger Trouts and Salmon all day. It will be good. :)

Yeah, our legendary fight for the golden scythe 😇 😆

Yes, this. Omg there were at least 6 more it felt like in that antechamber. Fortunately the Golden Scythe was in the room after that because this room was BEYOND cursed. And I did it with a dagger.

Just for the record, we aren't trying to be matchy matchy on purpose. I picked one of my 2 favorite shirts randomly, and then i logged on and she was wearing the same shirt.

And here I thought there's always a lot of them when I enter.
Well I think there usually aren't that much there, at least when I play alone, but as Ranger said, there were so many that time, probably more skulls than stones... Maybe it was bc its a multiplayer game and we both entered the mine at the same time, so the game gave us the double mass? Unfortunately I was too busy fighting, I didn't got them all screenshotted 🤪

Well I know too little about multiplayer to answer. Would love to know though.

Makes perfect sense, maybe it's just me, but they seem harder to hit than any other flying enemy. Makes them both harder and more annoying. Used to die to them all the time, not anymore though.
