Hey! I'm new to this forum and I don't know how active it is, but I've been having a lot of trouble with one bug in particular ever since the 1.6 update on the Switch.
So, I married Elliott, way prior to receiving the update and I have 2 kids with him. For some reason, I can't leave the house without Elliott vanishing pretty much entirely every day/night. Unless I enter my farmhouse at 10pm when he's in bed— if I enter my house at any time before that, he's just gone and doesn't return or come to bed at all. But then he's there the next morning like nothing happened?? And his dialogue is normal and everything.
I also noticed that my son also went missing alongside Elliott after I just logged on. When I woke up, I couldn't find my son anywhere in my farmhouse (this is the first time this has happened), but my daughter was there. Then I left my house very briefly to get something out of my shed, and when I came back Elliott disappeared. It's not Monday, so he couldn't have gone to the beach. Plus, this happens basically every day unless I don't leave the house. Even if it's raining/storming, he's still gone.
I did a bit of research, and apparently this bug has been around for a while, but I'm mostly seeing that it only happens occasionally for most people? And this hasn't been an issue for me at all prior to the 1.6 update. And I can't find anyone else who is experiencing this same issue at the same time as I am. :/
Sorry about the long rant LOL, if anyone sees this and has a similar problem PLEASE lmk
. I really hope that this gets fixed if it's an issue that other people are having.
